Live Search

To search geographic names using live search:

1. On the toolbar, click the Search tab.
2. To select the service or services GeoMedia SDI Portal uses to search, right click next to Search.

   

   In the Search field, type a geographic name for searching objects. The hints in a drop-down list appear while you type the name.

   The search results appear in the list. Pins appear on the map.

   Hovering over an item in the list changes the pin color on the map to red.

   

3. To change the scale of the map and to zoom to the specified location, click a name in the search results list.
4. To remove an entire layer of pins from map window, click on the Search tab.
